We will start off with an introduction, social evening with a few drinks at one of our local pubs where Members can meet each other, the Village Racehorse Team (who all live locally) and Fergal!!
You'll soon be able to pop up and see the horse at the stables, watch it school over fences, canter up the gallops, give it a Polo mint and pat it in its box. Fergal may even let you muck out!
On Race Days you'll be able to go racing! Enjoy the great hospitality you receive as an owner, go into the parade ring, chat to the jockey, watch the race in good company..........and visit the Winner's Circle afterwards (can't be guaranteed!)
We are also looking to have a social day out with or without a runner at Cheltenham Racecourse.
There will be regular updates to keep you in the know. .and I'm sure lots more.

Fergal O'Brien has found a horse for The Village Racehorse.... contact us for more information!
The total net prize money won by our horse will be donated to good causes in the villages surrounding Withington.
The villages we consider part of our "Village Community" are:
Withington, Compton Abdale, Colesbourne, Calmsden, Chedworth, North Cerney and Rendcomb.
If you don't live in or near one of these villages you can still join!
The charitable distribution process is yet to be determined but will likely be through grant applications following the conclusion of the racing year.

Once we have secured enough interest in our new charitable concept, The Village Racehorse will be registered officially as a Racing Club with the British Horse Racing Authority.
